FIFA 16 will include a changing pitch that will be affected by various elements of the game

FIFA 16 will release for the PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 23rd in North America, the 25th across Europe and the 26th in the UK.

EA has released a new video to showcase the improved visuals of FIFA 16. The trailer gives us a look at a few of the graphical upgrades used in the latest FIFA title, including updated character models, lighting, moving hair, breathing players and grubby kits.

FIFA 16 will be hitting the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and PlayStation Vita, although only the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions will get all the new features included with EA Ignite, while Xbox 360 and PS3 just get regular new updates. Meanwhile, the Wii, PS Vita, and 3DS will get a ‘Legacy Edition’ re-packaging of last year’s game (which in turn was a re-packaging of last year’s game, and so on going all the way back to FIFA 12 in 2011).

FIFA 16 isn't just focusing on the players, with the latest trailer revealing that FIFA 16 will include a changing pitch that will be affected by various elements of the game - slide tackles, weather and the length of the match will all change the playing field.

The game is slightly nicer to Chelsea and Manchester City, who have unlimited budgets, however, be careful not to slip up at Stamford Bridge or Abramovich could fire you. Meanwhile at City, Joe Hart’s good for an inordinate number of howlers, and can occasionally be found quivering in the back of the net due to post traumatic stress from Pirlo’s penalty.  In addition to this, it’s rumoured one of the programmers is a lifelong Stoke City hater, and as such, has limited Stoke to long balls and throw-ins; simple passes just aren’t possible anymore.
